Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Trainee Commercial Flue Fitter. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills under the guidance of a Head Fitter. You will be responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial flue systems. This position requires the ability to stay away from home Monday to Friday and work at various locations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Head Fitter in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial flue systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Learn how to accurately measure and cut flue components to ensure proper fit and function.
- Assist in assembling and fitting flue components, including pipes, vents, and accessories.
- Support the Head Fitter in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that may arise during installations or repairs.
- Participate in on-site inspections to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time taken.
- Attend training sessions and actively participate in learning activities to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Represent the company in a professional and customer-oriented manner.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel extensively from Monday to Friday.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning about commercial flue systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Willingness to learn, take on new challenges, and adapt to changing work environments.
- Prior experience in a similar role or relevant vocational training is advantageous but not required.
