We are a thriving company with two busy offices across the UK. Milestone are committed to supporting and inspiring each other and due to continued exceptional growth we are looking for Finance Assistant to join our Business Support team and will be based in our Gateshead Office.

**The role**:

- Assist with managing all aspects of Finance, including Credit Control, Purchase Orders, Expenses, and Invoicing.
- Assist with Accounts Payable/Receivable.
- Ensuring Accurate Financial records and monitoring, including Cashflow Projections.
- Maintaining customer records and contact details.
- Assist our Planning and Design teams in Project documentation needed for Clients, such as filling in Company information and insurances.
- General clerical duties, checking post, scanning, filing, handling telephone enquiries, photocopying, sending out post and any other general administrative duties.
- Maintain strong communication between our Gateshead and Fleet Office.
- Assist in Office duties, maintaining sundries and ordering office supplies as needed.
- Assist in some small HR administrative duties for Gateshead Office, liaising with our Fleet Administrator.
- Help maintain our Social Media Platforms, working alongside our Fleet Administrator.
- Assist in the management of Office diaries, keeping an up-to-date whereabouts board.
- Support Event organisation alongside Business support team, such as Company training, away days and client events.

**The Person**:

- Experience within a Financial Role.
- Discrete, and able to maintain high levels of confidentiality and diplomacy
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Approachable and professional manner when dealing with colleagues and clients
- Attention to detail
- Be able to work as part of a team, liaising with the business support team, ensuring prompt delivery of tasks.
- Ability to work proactively and use initiative
- Proficient with the use of MS Office software

**Additional, desirable skills**
- Xero experience
- Drivers licence

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From £11,000.00 per year
