Ewals Cargo Care Ltd transported its first load over 100 years ago. Now, still a family company, our multimodal logistics network connects trade and businesses across Greater Europe.

Our Core expertise is modalities via road, rail, and short-sea journey. With our unique fleet of over 3400 trailers on the move and 30 offices all over Europe, there is always an Ewals trailer and local expert nearby.

Due to the continued expansion and growth of Ewals Cargo Care UK & IRE, the opportunity has arisen for a **UK Regional Field Sales Representative** to join our dedicated sales team. To be based in the North of the UK, the role offers fully remote working, with occasional trips to our UK Headquarters.

**Field Sales Representative**

The role involves close communication with partners and colleagues from Ewals offices throughout Europe. You will need to be able to multitask and be accurate in verifying and providing information. As such, we are looking for a highly organised person with strong communication skills and someone who can build a rapport quickly with potential customers.

**Duties (to include but are not limited to)**:

- Your focus will be on winning new business for Ewals in the Northern region (UK).
- Responding to tender requests & providing quotations to potential customers.
- Make site visits & presentations to potential new customers.
- Seek new business using your own research and developing relationships with potential customers.
- Manage all aspect of the sales process form identifying sales leads to implementing new customer contracts.
- Working with the operations team to identify sales opportunities.
- Build on and maintain existing customer base - start to finish.

**Person Specification**:

- Logistics/Transport Sector knowledge.
- Operational knowledge to manage the accounts once brought on.
- Must be able to manage own schedule.
- Visit a minimum number of prospects per month.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Highly motivated and driven to achieve targets.
- Be able to convert business requirements to leads.
- Tenacious, well presented, and self-starter.
- Enthusiastic and ambitious.
- Essential to live in the North of the UK.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
