We are recruiting on behalf of this hugely successful travel business who are on the lookout for a Senior Customer Experience Executive. This is a unique offering for a travel professional who enjoys a varied role of customer service and operations, this opportunity has it all. Being fully immersed within a well established and close nit team, you will be the customers point of contact for pre and post departure queries and/or complaints.

This is an office based role in the Hertfordshire region, but easily accessible from London, Essex & Bucks.

**The role**:

- Provide customer with exceptional customer service for pre and post departure queries or complaints
- Ensure the company are represented in a professional manner at all times
- Think commercially when handling a complaint scenario, whilst remaining empathetic
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressured and ever changing environment
- Ensure the customer has a positive experience with the company
- Ensure all companies processes and procedures are followed whilst meeting service levels
- Carry out any adhoc projects within the Customer Experience team

**You will have**:

- Travel industry background (desirable)
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
- Patience, resilience and the ability to be empathetic regardless of the situation
- A commercial mindset, and ensure margins for each reservation are maximised
- Familiarity with social media (Facebook, twitter, trust pilot etc )
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
