**Job Summary**:
Working within the Commercial Department, the Trading Administrator will be responsible for the accurate entry and maintenance of data and working closely with the Trading Managers and Supply Chain to supply the required information to all suppliers.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring strong lines of communication with both trading team and suppliers regarding account information, service categories and price files.
- Working closely with suppliers regarding pricing queries, ensuring all information and data is up to date and accurate.
- Collating of information and data to analyse and review, suggesting ways to improve processes.
- Providing continual administrative support to the trading team.
- Assisting with the delivery of customer site visits and Regional Trade Shows in Ireland and Scotland.
- Liaising closely with other departments.
- Code first run of tender documents for traders to review.
- Set up Master look up spreadsheet to populate the tender / quote, adding True cost and Net price information.
- Repeat the above process for Key account / rep quotations when needed.
- Manage NPD process and liaise with sales team on all new listings.
- Request information from suppliers for NPD, to include: Product specs / Images / prices / PIFs etc.
- Review sales performance of NPD at regular intervals.
- Main point of contact for all Sales Reps’ queries and distributing these to correct Category Manager / Replenishment team for review.
- Follow up responses effectively and efficiently to desired deadlines.
- Provide Admin support to Category managers.
- Complete Supplementary declarations on TSS portal.
- Add CHED numbers and Seal numbers from Traces website.

**Essential criteria**:

- One year experience within wholesales or food retail
- Strong numerical skills - ability to analyse and interpret data from a range of sources, confident in dealing with large quantities of data.
- Competent in the use of PC software packages including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Great stakeholder management
- Excellent administrative and organisational ability
- Flexibility to manage and attend Trade Shows
- A strong communicator, who can work within tight deadlines and a busy environment.
- A positive attitude, a keen eye for detail and ensuring strong accuracy.

**Desirable criteria**:

- Interest in commerciality
- Experience working in fast changing environments.
- Knowledge of market trends, competitor environment
