Are you an experienced Electrical Buyer, looking for an exciting new role where you will work on a wide variety of interesting projects.

Our client is a well-established electrical contractor providing the design, installation and commissioning of industrial, commercial and domestic electrical installations throughout the UK. Due to their expanding level of work our client is looking to employa forward thinking, dynamic, experienced Buyer of electrical equipment to manage the procurement of materials for various sized electrical engineering projects.

**Responsibilities**:
This role is predominantly to manage the procurement of electrical materials and includes the following duties and responsibilities;
- Overall management of the procurement of materials for various electrical engineering projects
- Working alongside the Projects Manager to ensure they have the materials they require
- Assist the estimators in the pricing of jobs
- Ensure stock levels are correct
- Check invoices and all relevant paperwork
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers

**Requirements**:

- Experience in electrical materials procurement is required
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Great attention to detail, IT Literate and numeric
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
