If counting cash, maths and spreadsheets are your comfort zone, then join a brand-new Neurological service, The Lakefields in Chigwell, which is opening early 2024, and utilise your skill set within a healthcare environment to deal with all finance-related admin.

As the Finance Administrator, you will be working with the Hospital Director to co-ordinate individual service users' finance, recording transactions on SAGE, and assisting with the management of petty cash, managing the purchase order processing system.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Managing systems for service user monies, petty cash, cover for payroll for the site (including overtime, bank and special duty pay), and cover for the purchase system.
- Ensuring that service users' valuables are kept in a secure location, that the items received are documented and released suitably
- Providing an in-house banking service for service users. Record cash flow for individuals through the Client Fund Account, highlighting concerns around unusual spending requests
- Co-ordinating and administering the unit's petty cash account, processing and recording appropriately
- Ensuring that all associated documentation is correctly maintained and filed in the correct way

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of EXCEL, SAGE and Outlook
- Confidence in handling cash and dealing with online accounts such as Amazon and TFL
- Accuracy, efficiency, timeliness, and diligence in all assigned duties with minimum of direct supervision
