Dietetic Assistant Practitioner PERMANENT

NUTRITION & DIETETIC DEPARTMENT

Substantive post 0.7wte (26.25 hours) We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work in our well established Long Term Conditions team to support the clinical delivery of dietetic weight management and bariatric services to the Bradford community. Alongside this you will spend some time working in our dietetic diabetes team with individuals with diabetes.

You will be highly organised and possess strong administration and communication skills. The post holder will be required to liaising with patients and their families/carers, a range of health and care professionals alongside community and voluntary sector staff. You will assist with appointments, resources and patient/staff enquiries to ensure smooth running of the service and support improved outcomes for patients. You will work alongside the dietetic and administration teams collecting clinical and other information to support patient care and gather data to assist in the monitoring and evaluation of the service.

You will be required to use a number of electronic systems to keep electronic records, databases and spreadsheets and therefore should be experienced with the use of IT programmes and service reporting. Training will be provided on the use of any specific systems used within the team.

This is a varied, interesting and demanding post within a busy team and will offer considerable job satisfaction to the right person.
