**Reporting to**:Logistics Manager
**Aim of role**:To support the logistics department ensuring Deliveries are carried out and dealt with to the highest standards of quality possible to ensure customer and Dealer satisfaction.
**Job description**:
An exciting opportunity has become available to join our logistics division.
We are seeking a confident and organised logistics administrator to assist our busy logistics team on a daily basis.
**Responsibilities**:
- Answering logistic phone calls
- Booking pallets out on Palletways portal.
- Updating shipping schedules to the CRM.
- Requesting quotes from UK / Netherlands 3pl centre for European partners
- Creating container packing lists and sending over to 3pl centres
- Allocating barcodes to CRM after receiving information from 3pl centres.
- Liaise with UK partners that have in stock orders.
- Learn how to book retail customers in for delivery and upload onto CRM.
**Requirements**:
- Ability to enter information onto our Bespoke CRM and other systems.
- Route planning experience an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
- Experience of booking containers at sea advantageous
- Numerate and articulate to the clerical level required.
- Ability to maintain personal technical knowledge.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Microsoft Excel skills are vital for this role.
- Previous experience within a Transport or Distribution environment preferred.
- A good geographical knowledge of the UK desirable.
