Fareham, United Kingdom Fair Ways Full time

**Who are Fair Ways and what do we stand for?**

Fair Ways is a great place to work. We are a team. We care about each other and are all committed to making a change to the lives of the young people and service users in our care. We will not apologise for calling our staff great, the best, or world-class. Our staff are at the core of our organisation and we celebrate them by shouting it from the rooftops

**Where and when do we need you?**

Fair Ways is committed to fostering a trauma informed therapeutic culture that makes a positive difference. To support that commitment, we are looking for a confident, professional and pro-active Allied Health Professional to join our Therapeutic Hub. The primary purpose of this role is to support Fair Ways in its ambition to be trauma informed and to help embed a united, evidence-based, systemic approach that works to enhance the quality and impact of the care and support we provide.

**As an Allied Health Professional with Fair Ways you will**:

- **Supporting and developing internal teams** - You will support Fair Ways services in a ‘Team-around-the-Relationship’ approach to service-delivery, understanding the importance of meeting young people and Fair Ways teams where they are at and using relationship as the base. This allows Fair Ways colleagues, children, young people and families to feel safe, develop relationships, learn to be co-regulated and develop understanding around emotions.
- **Trauma Informed Workforce Development** - You will provide leadership to the wider Fair Ways team, contributing to service development commensurate with the organisations goals but with particular focus on supporting the understanding of complex trauma alongside other presentations of mental ill health or neurodiversity, and in assessing and managing risk. You will do this through supporting the personal and continuous professional development of Fair Ways staff, through 1-1 supervision, formal training and through “trickle-training" in trauma informed approaches as well as through direct therapeutic work.
- **Research and critical appraisal skills - **Using evidence to support clinical decision-making and oversight, both within own practice and when supporting teams. You will also contribute to an ongoing program of audit to evaluate practice within the Hub Team, and within wider Fair Ways services, ensuring that the data is used to develop and improve outcomes for our young people.
- **Quality and Governance -** You will do this through understanding and supporting the use of routine outcome measures, as well as helping to analyse the data and support the quality safety governance team in improving services through reviewing and developing new practice policies and procedures when required. You will show commitment to your own personal and continuous professional development through self-assessment, supervision, training, and the acquisition of different learning opportunities.
- **Multidisciplinary and inter-agency working - **You will liaise with relevant professionals, providers, commissioners establishing positive working relationships with local networks (particularly CAMHs, AMH, Local GP surgeries) around the young people we support across the Charity. These working relationships help us to manage crisis and improve outcomes over the long term. You will do this by writing and distributing theraputic needs assessments with clear formulations alongside multi-agency risk management plans across services within Fair Ways and with our partner agencies (CAMHs, Social Services, Schools).

**What are the required skills and experience are we looking for?**
