We are looking for a Senior Lead Residential Support Worker. You will lead a shift and support the manager at our two bed EBD children's home in Staining, Lancashire

Working as a Senior Lead Children’s Support Worker, you act as Team Leader and manage a team on shifts, you will also support the manager with management duties. Your attention will focus on the young people and their preparations for adulthood.

**Salary and Benefits**
**£30,688 **per annum, plus £60 sleep-in allowance

A 37-hour week operating on a shift based working pattern includes the opportunity to work additional hours, providing you with increased earning capacity. The shift pattern is a 1 on 2 off shift pattern with a sleep in on each shift. Time with be set aside in your rota to support the manager and for your own management development.
A dedicated management team, always available for operational support and assistance.
Quality accredited training for continued professional development and fully funded support toward Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England)
We take a genuine interest in your career development and the opportunity to progress to more senior positions.
We will fully fund your DBS fee if you are not on the update service.
**Requirements**:
Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) or an equivalent qualification
Minimum 18 months experience working in a residential children’s home
Proven ability to lead a team
A commitment to actively safeguard and promote the welfare of the children and young people in the home
