Boeing Defence UK Ltd. is seeking a Chief of Staff for their Vertical Lift Business Unit based at Bristol or London. This is a hybrid position.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Acts as an extension and assistant to the applicable Business Unit Director working closely with the senior management team.
- Provides oversight, coordination and mentorship to projects of high importance.
- Prioritises and gathers information from various departments and meetings and reports that information, along with recommendations to Executive members
- Owns and coordinates the Business Unit operating rhythm and associated reporting.
- Coordinates and handles the Business Unit risks, issues and opportunities.
- Participates in pivotal initiatives and reports results back to the relevant Business Unit Director.
- Works with relevant executive assistants across the business to ensure critical meetings are organised proactively with well-prepared material.
- Helps members of the Business Unit leadership teams, enabling them to perform their duties to the best of their ability.
- Responsible for the tracking and coordination of the assigned Long Range Business Plans (LRBP) targets set within the respective Business Unit.
- Promotes a help needed culture where appropriately requesting help is encouraged and those providing help held accountable.
- Works with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to find opportunities for process improvement and business optimisation.
- Acts as a liaison and representative across other Business Units and Functions to identify areas of shared opportunity and growth.
- Represents at cross company initiatives and Trade Shows to promote the Boeing brand.
- Ensures follow-up action for issue resolution.
- Assist with the arrangement of Leadership Team off sites.

**Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience**:

- 3-5 years experience working in the defence sector
- 3-5 years working in a business management role
- Strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strategic planning and problem solving

**Security Clearance**: This position requires the ability to acquire a UK security clearance for which the Government requires UK Citizenship.
