**Polypipe Building Products** are focused on delivering solutions to the residential sector. Polypipe Building Products works with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders and groundworkers to deliver above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions as well as hot and cold plastic plumbing products.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Materials Operative to join our company and work in the Moulding department based at our Neale Road site in DN2.

**Role & Responsibilties**: This role is to ensure that the manufactured product meets the required quality standard.
- To ensure all machines are supplied and kept supplied with the correct material
- Ensure all waste products are separated into their designated containers
- To carry out hopper and blender system maintenance duties
- To make sure that masterbatch is stored correctly and dosed in on the correct %
- To work in other jobs within the department when training has been provided.
- To maintain a safe working environment and adhere to this at all times
- To control and monitor the material on an organised manner making sure that it is stored correctly with no contamination

**Requirements**:

- Good knowledge of all materials used and how they require processing
- Set up of gravimetric blender and dosing units experience is desirable
- Set up with required material
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and Environmental standards for self and others

**Hours of work**:

- Working Monday - Friday on rotating shifts, 6:00am - 2:00pm, 2:00pm - 10:00pm, 10:00pm - 6:00am_

**Rate of pay**: £12.08 per hour

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.08 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- DONCASTER: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Moulding: 1 year (preferred)
- Material Operative: 1 year (preferred)
