**Location**: Wakefield campus, with a willingness to travel to and work from Selby campus and Castleford campus as required.
**Salary**:£15,924 (16-20 years of age)
£21,657 (21+ years of age)
£22,150 (23+ years of age)
**Fixed Term**:2 years
**The Opportunity**
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Health and Safety Administrator Apprentice to join our effective team of health and safety professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to develop existing skills or gain new skills within our Health and Safety team.
As an apprentice you will learn various administrative skills whilst working in a busy office environment.
There are many aspects to the role, including health and safety, administration, customer service and problem solving.
**The Team**
We have a great team, working in health and safety. We’re seeking an enthusiastic, high performing individual who’ll add another dimension and perspective.
**The Role**
The role will encompass working with health and safety across the Group. This includes;
To support the Health and Safety team in receiving, recording of incidents, near misses onto specialist H&S software system
Assist with filing, photocopying and scanning documents
Ordering supplies for first aid, DSE,
Assist in preparation of agendas, minute taking for Health & Safety College meetings, as required, including invites.
**As a **Health and Safety Administrator **Apprentice, **you should**:
- Hold GCSE grade A* C / 9 - 4 in English and Maths or equivalent, as a minimum
- Have a commitment to undertake the apprenticeship training to gain a level 3 Business Administrator qualification and IOSH Working Safely Course
**You should also be able to demonstrate**:
- Excellent communication skills
- High levels of accuracy
- A commitment to providing a quality service
