**Job description**:
Vickerstock are working in partnership with a multiple award winning, manufacturing firm based in Lisburn on the appointment of a Stores Lead.

Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager you will lead the stores team ensuring the efficient management of materials, inventory and supplies within the production facility.

**In your new role**:

- Leading the team providing guidance and expertise ensuring the team is prepared and motivated for the day ahead
- Ensure a consistent high level of performance at all times
- Ensure the smooth supply of materials, resources, and products to meet production requirements
- Maintaining stock supplies for future planning and accurate stock records on the system
- Frequently liaise with the scheduling department to ensure the smooth day to day running of operations
- Generate reports on inventory levels, usage and discrepancies
- Implement efficient storage solutions to maximise space ensuring easy access to materials
- Frequently attend meetings with various departments providing updates

**What you will need to succeed**:

- A minimum of 4 years experience working in a busy store within a fast paced, manufacturing environment
- A minimum of 1 year experience leading a team
- Experience in using ERP/MRP systems
- Valid forklift licence
