**Events Manager (operations), Hitchin -**

Our client, a reputable not-for-profit organisation based in Hertfordshire, is looking for an events professional with a passion for educational development to join their in-house Operations and Technology team. The Events Manager Operations will manageand develop the local event programme in support of the company’s strategic and business plans.

To be successful you would have to have extensive experience of event management, focussed customer service, strong communication and effective decision-making abilities.

**The Role - Events Manager (operations)**

This role will be managing 6 colleagues and the correct person needs to be driver of change
- Monitor and improve event processes with the aim of making them as efficient as possible
- Ownership of booking data, customer feedback and analysis feature heavily in this role
- Focussing on continuous improvement, highlighting low-value activities, and recommending solutions.

Main areas of responsibility:

- Execution of training events
- Lead outstanding customer service
- Manage and retain a highly motivated, high performing team
- Data driven actionable insights

**About You - Events Manager (operations)**
- Passion and knowledge of digital and face-to-face events
- Experience in building and leading a team, driving performance
- Strong communication skills and ability to deliver information to audiences at all levels
- Experience using digital training platforms is a must

Due to the location of their Stevenage based head office this role is commutable from most parts of Hertfordshire including, Hitchin, Hertford, Luton, Hatfield, Royston and Bishop’s Stortford.
