You will be a part of the Family Safeguarding or First Response Teams and contribute to the provision of children's social care services ensuring children's views are heard.
**Your new role**You will be working within the policy and legislative framework of children's social care.
By working with children, young people and vulnerable adults, you have a responsibility for safeguarding and promoting their welfare; whilst demonstrating a commitment to the principles of participatory practice and the involvement of young people in decisionswhich affect them.
**What you'll need to succeed**For this role you will be expected to demonstrate relevant theoretical Social Work concepts, practices and detailed organisational knowledge relating to the provision of a professional Social Work service dealing with complex issues (e.g., attachment, impactof developmental trauma & child development). An understanding of the therapeutic interventions that can be used (e.g. solution focused, systemic and evidence-based programmes and an excellent understanding of partner agencies).

- A recognised Social Work qualification
- Effective coaching and supervision
- Analytical skills
- Excellent teamwork
- Good Interpersonal communication
- Excellent communication skills
- Accountability and responsibility
