**Brokerage Officer**

The Brokerage Officer will be an integral part of the Commissioning Team, working under the Senior Placements Brokerage Officer. This role involves working in a small team dedicated to finding placements for hospital discharge, individuals with learning disabilities, and mental health issues. The role often deals with complex clients and a high volume of work, making it ideally suited for an experienced broker who wants to be part of a dynamic team. The post-holder is expected to attend the office ideally once per week. Experience of using MOSAIC is desirable. This position entails high-pressure situations with expected outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work as part of the Commissioning Team under the Senior Placements Brokerage Officer.
- Find suitable placements for hospital discharge, individuals with learning disabilities, and mental health issues.
- Handle complex cases and manage a high volume of work.
- Attend the office ideally once per week.
- Utilize MOSAIC software for effective brokerage operations.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
- Provide regular updates and reports on placement activities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a broker, preferably in a similar setting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with MOSAIC software is desirable.
