**Your Role and Responsibilities**

Kyndryl, Advisory and Implementation Service (A&IS) is a Leader in Cloud solutions. We are looking for a highly talented hands-on Consultant with a proven track record in helping client accelerate their Cloud Modernization journey.

**Key Responsibilities will include**:

- Business Development and Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders; experience originating deals with C-level clients; lead pursuit teams; participate and lead the proposal development process; contribute to proposal shaping and pricing strategies.
- Delivery & Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk.
- Practitioner Development: Perform the role of counsellor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities.
- Use Case Prioritization, ROI, and Business Case Service Offering Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create industry points of view for our service offerings.
- Subject Matter Expertise in Network Strategy, Architecture, and Roadmap design
- This position is working within the A&IS business unit.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**

Be able to demonstrate applied knowledge in
- Provide technical insight and oversight for teams performing static code discovery, rehosting assessment, language migration and migration to cloud
- Collaborate with leads across a team of engineers and products developers to plan and execute Legacy Modernization projects.
- Manage day-to-day interactions with clients and sponsors
- Manage and contribute to Client’s proposal work for new business Perform role of mentor and coach in the field of Legacy Modernization
- Implement Agile processes and DevOps practices including continuous integration and automated deployment.
- Bring in Eminence, Thought Leadership, Identify trends and business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain sustainable Sales pipeline

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- Hands-on technical experience with mainframe and other legacy systems and with technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2 for z/OS, Assembler, PL/I, Java, Rexx, flat/sequential files, GDGs, and VSAM
- Appropriate experience in designing architectures for secure enterprise systems
- Experience migrating workloads from mainframe and other legacy systems to distributed x86 infrastructures on-premises or in the Cloud
- Experience integrating mainframe and other legacy systems with Distributed Open systems
- Experience with tools and methodologies used to migrate mainframe workloads via hardware/middleware emulation, automated code conversion, and re-platforming
- Experience of proprietary legacy data store migration to relational databases
- Experience of legacy systems data replication or messaging
- Ability to evaluate and plan migrations to a cloud platform.
