**Job Description: CNC Laser Operator**

**Position Overview**:
As a CNC Laser Operator at RJS Laser Ltd, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art CNC laser cutting machines. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure the accurate and efficient production of various metal components and structures. This role requires technical proficiency in CNC operations, a keen eye for quality, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team to meet project deadlines and exceed client expectations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines to execute cutting tasks as per engineering specifications and work orders.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products to ensure seamless production flow.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and inspections to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
- Adjust machine settings to achieve precise cutting results.
- Inspect and measure finished products to verify that they meet quality standards and design specifications.
- Collaborate with the design to ensure seamless workflow and accurate interpretation of engineering drawings.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor and record production data, including quantities produced, material usage, and any issues encountered during the process.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a CNC Laser Operator or similar role in the metal fabrication industry.
- Proficiency in operating CNC laser cutting machines.
- Solid understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Ability to measure and inspect finished products using precision tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in the production process.
- Effective problem-solving skills to address any operational issues that may arise.
- Knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
- A proactive and safety-conscious attitude towards work.

**Join Our Team**:
**Salary**: £10.50-£16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newton Aycliffe: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- FLT licence (preferred)
