London, United Kingdom Food Bank Aid Full time

Food Bank Aid is a central distribution hub that provides food, toiletries and household goods to 32 food banks in North London. We currently support 20,000 people per week. We are looking for volunteers to pick and pack donated food and volunteers to deliver the orders to the food banks.

Tasks include:

- 1. Pick / pack and place products into crates ready to be sent out to food banks

2. Split large bags of goods into smaller portions for distribution at food banks

4. Replenish the crates with new products arriving at the hub

5. Deliver orders to food banks with your own vehicle or with our Food Bank Aid van

Shift Times

1st shift 8am - 9am

2nd shift 9am - 12pm

3rd shift 12pm - 3pm

4th shift 3pm - 5:30pm

We are flexible with shifts, welcoming and appreciating any help in the hub

Tea, coffee and cakes are provided at every shift

This is a rewarding opportunity for an individual passionate about making a difference in the community through effective volunteering and an opportunity to work in a sociable environment. References are available upon request.
