Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality engineered products for various industries including Oil & Gas and Renewables. They offer a fully integrated supply offering and create manufacturing opportunities through leverage of early project engagement through their distribution business.

As a Sales Estimator, you will be responsible for:

- Maximising growth for the company by promoting our products and services to existing and new customers and markets.
- Preparing and reviewing complex quotations from customer drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance, accuracy and competitiveness.
- Being the key point of contact for your nominated accounts, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met and communicated to the relevant areas within the business.
- Supporting the Commercial Manager in monitoring and developing an efficient and effective Sales & Commercial Department to deliver timely bids.
- Leading or participating in field sales activities and customer visits when required, ensuring professional representation of the business.
- Monitoring performance of accounts through key metrics and providing direction and feedback.
- Ensuring customers are well informed of order status and being actively involved in any required changes or interventions to support execution.
- Conducting thorough Technical Contract Reviews of Customer Purchase Orders against original quotations, ensuring any differences are resolved and documented.
- Negotiating new and ongoing contracts with customers.
- Setting an example for team members of commitment, work ethics and positive company representation.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

- Prior knowledge and experience of a Sales/Commercial role within the O&G industry or similar.
- Demonstrable experience of management and accountability for teams or projects.
- Experience in both a Sales and Operational Role would be an advantage.
- Evidence of a customer facing role or activities related to CRM.
- Metallurgical knowledge of materials used within the O&G industry an advantage.
- Ability to build customer intimate relationships.
- Good business sense.
- Strong negotiation and customer service skills
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Initiative, drive and enthusiasm.
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to multi task.
- The ability to work calmly and professionally under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey requirements internally and externally.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
