Wigan Talking Therapies are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our successful, friendly and supportive team.
We are a committed integrated step 2 and 3 talking therapy service that strives to provide support for individuals experiencing common mental health difficulties.
You will need to be an individual who is flexible, creative, committed and able to adapt positively to change. Can be organised, able to prioritise and works well under pressure.
Whilst this post requires no professional registration, experience within mental health is essential. The post holder's professional development will be supported by the service through regular supervision and training opportunities. Staff wellbeing is at the heart of our team and staff can attend regular CPD groups, away days and various support groups set up in the service.
The post holder will be a key member of the Talking Therapies team working directly with clinicians to support service users with their treatment plans.
The post holder will provide support to clinicians in running wellbeing courses in our step 2 team whilst playing a key role in servicing group appointments.
You will be key to promoting the service by liaising with external services and increasing the awareness of Talking Therapies within the community.
