We have an exciting opportunity for a well organised and self-motivated Lecturer in Biology to join the East Durham College Team and Full-Time basis.

**Main Duties of the Role**:
Your role will be to deliver an ambitious curriculum to all by working flexibly and efficiently to maintain the highest professional standards in the delivery of allocated teaching programmes, including the associated organisational, coordination and administrative responsibility.

**Essential Requirement**:

- A level 6 or above teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE) or willing to work towards
- Minimum of Level 6 qualification in Biology or a related discipline.
- Experience of delivery to a wide range of learners (14-19+)
- Proven track record of delivering good and better teaching.
- Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines.
- Suitability to work with children and/or vulnerable adults.
