Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

**Duties**:

- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up and laundry
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings
- Engage in meaningful conversation and companionship with clients
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior
- Follow care plans and ensure all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently

**Requirements**:

- NVQ 1/2 or QCF 1/2/3
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to travel to client's homes
- Live DBS and living in Denbighshire

**Skills**:

- Empathy: Ability to understand and share the feelings of others, showing compassion towards clients.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure all duties are completed within designated timeframes.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail when following care plans, administering medications, and documenting client information accurately.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing schedules or client needs.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and assisting clients with mobility.

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 42 per week
