This is an exciting role for someone looking to develop their career in communications and marketing and with a passion for nature, heritage, and communities. The role will be busy and challenging but you'll be supported by a great team and the Trust’s wider regional marketing team. We're a busy team and this role will suit someone who thrives in a changing and creative environment.

**Please note that the salary advertised is inclusive of an Outer London Weighting allowance.**

What it's like to work here:One of the last surviving country estates in London, Osterley Park and House is a vibrant attraction. The high turnaround of visitors means work is fast-paced, with the team always looking for creative ways to attract greater visitor numbers. Outdoor activities are a key focus, and the estate is part of the National Trust’s Cycle Trail project. Osterley Park enjoys a fantastic location just 20 minutes outside of London, so you can travel here by car or public transport.

Osterley Park and House also has a garden for all seasons - the gardens are divided into three areas to ensure interest all year round and perfect if you're looking for some garden inspiration The urban eighteenth-century formal gardens were restored by the National Trust to their original grandeur.

What you'll be doing:Reporting to the Visitor Operations & Experience Manager, you’ll work alongside property colleagues to develop and share key messages through various communications channels. You'll have fresh ideas and a creative approach to share the stories of our properties and engage visitors in the work we do.

This is a varied and fast paced role, you'll enjoy working at pace and liaising with people. No two days will be the same. In this role you will be responsible for promoting events/on-site programming, and general property themes, across a range of marketing platforms including social media and the property's website.
- Who we're looking forExperience of working in communications, marketing or media environment and experience running social media channels.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written which should include copywriting and proof-reading and creating content for different channels.
- The ability to plan creative communications and marketing activity in support of property and organisation objectives.
- Good team player. Able to motivate others with energy and enthusiasm and build strong relationships internally and externally.
- Well organised and able to manage multiple projects and varying pressures to meet deadlines.
