**About the programme**:
This role offers exposure and experience to various elements of the four main professions - Investment, Divestment, Development and Planning (IDP) - within the Watkin Jones IDP business area working on a rotational basis. The IDP team is split into Hubs, which are individual project teams pulling in a variety of expertise to acquire sites and develop them into new homes with appropriate risk adjusted returns for our clients.
- Investment: The identification and acquisition of development sites in line with key targets and performance metrics.
- Development: lead on the design and design input, including costs and technical risk items from initial acquisition stage through the planning stage and until handover to the delivery team
- Planning: working with the Hubs to negotiate and secure planning permissions across the Group
- Divestment: The disposal of development assets in line with key targets and performance metrics.

During the two-year programme, you’ll be offered the chance to rapidly develop professionally and personally, working side-by-side with IDP leaders and wider team learning on the job. In addition, you will have access to the guidance, support, and training to enable you to achieve your short-term and long-term career goals.
