We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tutor/Assessor to join our team. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students by providing personalised educational support. This is a paid position that requires expertise in construction and the ability to effectively communicate with and mentor students.

**Duties**:

- Assess student's learning needs and develop customised lesson plans
- Utilise effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate students
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with other staff and employers to create an individualised learning plan
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Incorporate educational resources and materials to enhance learning experience

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with Apprentices _essential._
- Willing to work towards CAVA and AET if not already achieved
- Practical construction experience with at least one trade qualification essential
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Be able to carry out assessments and reviews of apprentices plus engage with employers on various construction sites.
- Patience, empathy,adaptability and the ability to establish rapport with students
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Familiarity with computer software and technology is preferable
