**Job overview**:
We are offering a contract, working 37.5 hours per week, working Monday - Friday. Shifts can vary from 7:00am - 15:00pm and 08:30am -16:30pm working over 7.5 hours per day. The shift patterns will be discussed at the interview stage. Please note, This role is a key position within the operational profile of the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS foundation Trust. you will work on a relatively independent basis as you provide specialised skills to oversee all aspects of our Receipt and distribution service including the receipt of items into the Stores and ensuring accurate timely dispatch and delivery of orders to our customers/Wards/Departments. To undertake all operational RDP duties

Associated with the ordering/requisitioning receipt and temporary storage of goods and their subsequent distribution to end-users in accordance with agreed procedures and delivery schedules.

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
To deliver goods in an efficient, safe and secure manner to the correct end users, recording orders onto delivery run sheets and identifying to them any attractive or valuable items, also noting chargeable containers to be subsequently collected from them. To oversee or assist in the unloading and loading of vehicles, marshalling or securing containers in an orderly manner on receipt, for return to supplier or distribution to end users. To participate in training sessions, as arranged.
