An exciting opportunity for a Slipper Designer has arisen at a new design-led fashion company that supplies the UK High-street and major supermarkets with a fresh new working approach**.**

**THE COMPANY**

They are looking for an ambitious and driven designer to head up a new Slipper division working across Ladies, Mens and Children’s product, to supply to major high retailers including Primark, Sainsbury, Tesco, George with the opportunity to develop intothe USA and Europe and the division grows. The current team is built of high calibre industry experts in design and sales with a wealth of experience in their field who are based in their state of the art and modern central Manchester office and a countryoffice in Bangladesh with a full team. It’s a rare opportunity for ambitious and dynamic individual to create and grow their own division in a trendy new company with global reach surrounded by a quality, experienced team in a modern office in the centre ofManchester.

**THE ROLE**
- To play a main role in the creation and set-up of a new slipper division
- Create seasonal trend concepts for the department
- Responsible for full product research, design and development of seasonal product and customer specific ranges
- Carry out customer meetings and presentations
- Ideally (but not essentials) bring new contacts for customer and sources
- Drive sales for the division and maintain customer relationships

**ABOUT YOU**

To be considered for this role, you will need to be able to identify and create commercial trends as well as have strong CAD Design and presentation skills using Adobe Packages (3D design would be a bonus). The company are also looking for someone who isconfident to professionally present and lead customers meetings and drive sales & able to source relevant trims/materials/accessories.
