Band 2 Ward Clerk Kennet Ward

Full time position 37.5hrs/week

You will be required to undertake various clerical and administrative duties to facilitate the smooth running of the Ward.

You will also support nursing and medical staff, including the Ward Manager.

Liaise on a daily basis with nurse in charge and be responsible for the following:
Answering incoming calls and either dealing with enquiries or diverting calls.

Booking patient transport for outpatient appointments and treatment.

To be able to use the EPR system to book appointments, enter demographics, admit and discharge patients.

To support nursing and medical staff as required.

To ensure the ward areas are kept well stocked with stationary; and photocopying as required.

Liaise with the facilities department on behalf of staff, logging maintenance requests.
