**About the role**

You will collaborate with the Engineering, Production and QHSE teams as well as Contractors, SME’s and central functions to ensure projects are delivered to specification, on time and within budget and with safety built-in as standard.

This is a permanent, full-time position.

**Key responsibilities**

As a Project Engineer you will:

- Create capital proposals including scope documents, cost estimates, and timelines.
- Development of a detailed scope of work, equipment specifications, purchasing documents, creating and maintaining detailed timelines, receiving and commissioning plant/equipment.
- Develop project specifications by making calculations, preparing process flow diagrams (PFD’s), piping and instrumentation drawings (P&ID’s), site and floor plans, elevation drawings and other project documentation as applicable.
- Leads the bid process and selection of contractors/vendors in actual design and specifications of installations.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new or existing systems.
- Establish a project plan including considerations around timeline, plant tie-ins, project team requirements etc.
- Communicate clearly, both written and verbally, with contractors, plant personnel, peers and management.
- Manages and coordinates the activities of teams and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
- Directs the installation, commissioning, qualification and verification for regional engineering capital projects.
- Responsible for the effective management of change for all processes & equipment under your remit.
- Recommends improvements in the area of operational safety for a project.
