**We are currently recruiting for a Welding Inspector.**As the Welding inspector you will be responsible for maintaining the current welding controls, ensuring they comply to the appropriate welding standards. The welding inspector will also be involved in developing new and existing processes to improve productquality and manufacturing productivity. They will support the project engineering team's to develop the product/processes to ensure they are manufactured to a high and consistent standard, at serial manufacture.
**Pay Rate: £15.77ph**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Carry out the roles/responsibilities as define in BSEN ISO14731.
- Ensure products (where applicable) comply to BSEN ISO15085 or BSEN ISO1090.
- Ensuring all new products/processes meet BSEN ISO3834 requirements, by supporting the project/manufacturing engineering team(s) & implement the appropriate processes to ensure existing products/process meet BSEN ISO3834 requirements. These are to be doneby:

- Setting up any traceability processes to meet specific customer requirements.
- Generate preliminary weld procedure specification & weld procedure specifications for the development projects & existing products.
- Facilitate the generation of weld procedure qualification records to comply with BSEN ISO15614/15613.
- Support the welder qualification process to comply with BSEN ISO9606-9.3a.
- Carry out non-destructive & destructive testing.
- Regularly auditing the relevant processes to ensure compliance to the relevant standards.
- To assist with any investigation activities, to be proactive and to deliver feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Undertake necessary, identified training by the company, to allow you to progress in this role and to train of any identified staff.
- Any other duties assigned in line with scope of role.
