Having over 20 years’ experience, the company is an expert at what it does and is now looking for additional support across its ops and supply chain departments.

**Job description - Operations Assistant**
In this Supply Chain Operations Assistant job in Heston, you will be working with a leading airline, providing critical support to the supply chain team during the busy season.

You will ensure orders are uploaded onto the system, with focus on assigned tasks, by collating, tracking and reporting data.

**Key responsibilities - Operations Assistant**

- In this Supply Chain Operations job, your responsibilities will include:_
- Collecting and organising daily orders that need to be entered onto the internal database
- Entering those daily orders onto the system - mastering the internal process and ensuring all data is stored accurately
- Supporting supplier Purchase Order entry for deliveries in the central warehouse
- Managing all related admin - ie tracking warehouse receipts
- Supplier Purchase Order entry for deliveries into the central warehouses and direct to the airport bonds
- Supporting the wider team on delivery issues, ensuring prompt resolutions or escalation if required, and that communication is followed through
- Monitoring the teams shared inbox for any important updates
- Learning and providing ad-hoc support when on the job

**Job requirements - Operations Assistant**
- A 2.1 from university, ideally in an operations focussed degree
- Commercial experience in supply chain or operations would be a real plus
- A confident Excel user - knowing VLookUps would be advantageous
- An interest in Supply Chain and FMCG
- A team player who can adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment, and is willing to get stuck in
- Willingness and ability to commute to Heston
