**Veterinary Receptionist - Role Overview**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident and dynamic individual to join our delightful veterinary practice located in the historic market town of Knutsford. We are looking for a role model with a passion for customer service.

**We are looking for**:

- Reception and administration experience, ideally in the veterinary sector
- Animal lover
- Demonstrate a positive approach to teamwork
- Computer literate (Word, Excel etc)
- Organised, reliable with good time-keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- SQP qualification desirable but not essential

**Your role will include**:

- Ensure that the telephones are answered promptly and assist with effective diary management
- Maintaining client and patient files, maintaining GDPR compliances
- Ensuring the reception area is well-maintained, clean and fully stocked
- Assisting the Head Receptionist with insurance administration
- Assisting with marketing of the practice, and the management of our social media and website accounts
- Promoting the practice health plan and other seasonal clinical schemes
- Dealing with client queries and complaints as the first port of call and escalating those that need senior management involvement.

The role is 25-40 hours per week and will be on a rota basis, with some 8 a.m. starts and some 6.30 p.m. finishes. We are open to discussions regarding flexible working. Shift patterns will include 1 in 4 Saturday mornings and 9 until 12.30.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
