Due to an impending maternity leave, we are now looking for a **Senior** **Accounts Payable Administrator **to cover over 12 months and provide support within our busy finance team.

**So, what’s the job about?**
Working within our busy finance function you will be supporting the Accounts Payable Manager within a team of 6. Marshalls pay over 180,000 invoices worth about £500 million annually. In this role, you will be supporting the function, preparing supplier and expense payment runs ensuring these are processed correctly and on time. You will use your initiative and identify areas for process improvement, especially where risks have been previously/currently identified. Using your positive and engaging manner, you’ll be building some great relationships both externally and internally across a variety of diverse teams.

You will also have an opportunity to work with the Accounts Payable team supporting them when needed; we expect to give you a variety of work and some great exposure to developing your leadership experience and skillset.

This will be office-based initially, however, once trained in the role you will work on a hybrid basis usually 1-2 days in the office.

**What skills do you need?**
- Experience working in an end-to-end Accounts Payable role
- Ability to support and guide
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Close attention to detail and accuracy
- Be a flexible team member

**Desirable**
- Experience using Microsoft AX Dynamics and D365
- Experience using an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) system
