Are you an experienced Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) looking for a temporary job opportunity to showcase your skills? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you We are currently seeking a Band 5 ODP to join our esteemed client, the University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust.

Located in the picturesque town of Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, the Grange Road hospital is renowned for its high-quality healthcare services and commitment to patient care. As a Band 5 ODP, you will play a vital role in supporting the surgical team and ensuring the smooth running of operating theatres.

Your role as a Band 5 ODP will involve assisting the anaesthetist and surgeon during surgery, preparing the operating theatre and equipment, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after procedures. You will also be responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications, and providing post-operative care.

As a temporary position, this opportunity will allow you to gain valuable experience and expand your skillset in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will have the chance to work alongside a team of highly skilled healthcare professionals and make a positive impact on the lives of patients in need.

This temporary Band 5 ODP position is scheduled to start on 13/02/2024 and will end on the same day. The shift timings for this role are from 13:00:00 to 18:00:00. As a temporary employee, you will be compensated at a rate of £170 per shift, paid through an umbrella payment system.
