Summary

We are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic Internal Communications Coordinator to join our vibrant Communications and CSR department based in our Head Office in Tolworth.

With the pace of Lidl Great Britain's growth continuing, our press office is getting busier by the day. This role provides a brilliant opportunity for someone to combine their passion for retail with a strong desire to work (or already have experience) in internal communications and corporate affairs. As a real people person with strong communication and writing skills, you will thrive in this highly collaborative and multi-skilled role, which will provide the opportunity to work with many teams and individuals across the business. Working directly alongside the Internal Communications Officer and reporting into the Communications Team Manager, you will support the development and delivery of Lidl GB’s internal communications strategy, and the effective day-to-day management of key internal communication channels.

We have moved to a hybrid working model with a recommended 2 days in the office per week for appropriate Head Office and Regional roles, empowering our teams to choose how and where they work best. Working directly alongside the Internal Communications Officer and reporting into the Communications Team Manager, you will support the development and delivery of Lidl GB’s internal communications strategy, and the effective day-to-day management of key internal communication channels.

What you'll do
- Supporting the Internal Communications Officer with the management of key communication channels, including the Sharepoint intranet and colleague app
- Leading the planning and production of internal communications content
- Working collaboratively with departments and individuals across the business to source and coordinate news and features
- Developing existing and new internal communications channels
- Assisting with the development and delivery of the internal communications strategy
- Providing administrative support to the team

What you'll need
- Previous experience within internal communications is advantageous, but not essential
- Exceptional creative copywriting skills
- Strong IT skills with experience using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
- Experience using Sharepoint
- Meticulous eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
