Overview:
Making the decision to enter treatment can be an intimidating experience for the people we support. You can make a difference.

As the detox and rehab recovery worker, you will support the wider teams to support our services users to access residential detox and rehab placements.

**Responsibilities**:
With this role you’ll be working countywide. As the detox and rehab recovery worker you will play a key role in supporting service users accessing detox and rehab, providing support prior and post placements working closely with our recovery workers to enhance our offering and develop relationships with residential settings.

Your role will be to support the team to engage and support individuals who are aiming to access detox and rehab and have multiple needs and substance use issues. You will be responding to referrals, supporting localities across the county, and actively engaging and building positive relationships with those we are supporting.

There will be an expectation to develop the pathway and training to our wider teams, to increase the amount of service users we support to access detox and rehab settings in line with the 10-year drug strategy.

There may be occasions when you will be required to support our generic teams within the role.

No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.
