Are you looking for an exciting leadership role in the field of Hard FM? We have an exceptional opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Hard FM Team Leader. As the Hard FM Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of all contractual deliverables within a highly prescriptive contract.

Your main responsibilities will include managing the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance for mechanical and electrical systems, plant, designated equipment, and building elements. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards while working within a tight budget, demonstrating your exceptional organisational and budgetary skills.

One of your key roles will be to ensure that all statutory compliance requirements for M&E and building fabric are meticulously always met. This will involve staying up to date with the latest regulations and implementing necessary measures to guarantee full compliance.

Your expertise and guidance will be invaluable as you provide assistance and advice to ISS Service Managers and Trust staff, helping them navigate the complexities of FM operations.

As the leader of the maintenance team, you will manage a diverse group of tradesmen, maintenance assistants, and specialist subcontractors. Performance management will be a crucial aspect of your role, ensuring that the team consistently meets contractual compliance standards.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to showcase your dedication by participating in an emergency on-call rota, providing an out-of-hours breakdown service to ensure uninterrupted facility operations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the contract management of the staff, operation and maintenance of all electrical and mechanical plants/services, project works and Building performance.
- Daily management of the Engineering team including compliance with ISS disciplinary processes and procedures.
- To direct, instruct and manage all ISS staff under their control as well as SSP’s ensuring compliance with working practices.
- To complete the weekly/daily operations report to the client and attend weekly/daily operations meeting, client meetings as requested, in conjunction with the client.
- Ensure that all matters that may impact the smooth running of the building and facilities are immediately reported to both ISS and the contracts Senior Management.
- To conduct regular reviews of operating procedures making recommendations for improvement with appropriate working practices and emergency/contingency procedures within the critical systems.
- To ensure that all staff within their control are conversant with the operation and control of critical and noncritical systems installed within the portfolio.
- To ensure quality is maintained throughout the facilities.
- Ensuring business policies and processes are effectively communicated and implemented within the contract.

**Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications**
- Graduate calibre (or appropriate experience track record)
- Professional qualifications / BIFM member
- IOSH for Managers
- Experience within an IFM Management arena
- Strong customer and client focus - must have experience in customer facing Facilities Management environment
- Supplier management - must have experience of managing suppliers in a similar type of environment
- Evidence of managing performance and identifying improvements using management data
- Team Player - experience within a contract/project/facilities management team
