**Purpose of the Position**
To support the Analytics Leads in the production, reporting and analysis of performance and information.
To develop and undertake information reporting to meet operational, clinical and contractual information requirements from across all relevant services.
**Service Description**:
The Analytics Team is part of the wider Performance and Business intelligence Team that looks at all performance data from our systems and takes any available learning from that information to help all our clinical services analyse their performance. This will focus on areas such as Data Quality to ensure accuracy of the information before looking at historical measures/trends and using these to forecast future requirements using a variety of methods.

**Main duties**
- To meet ongoing regular contractual information requirements as required, including reports required within the Trust and for external reporting (e.g. Commissioners).
- To maintain efficient processes within the department for the production of such regular information requirements making effective use of software available.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for reporting processes.
- To provide advice and support to staff across the services in the use of information to:
- Measure performance on clinical and non-clinical metrics
- Monitor contracted services
- Work with services to achieve and maintain high standards of Data Quality.
- To take responsibility for providing information to agreed stakeholders and to liaise with them concerning their requirements with the support of the Analytics Leads.
- Participate in and contribute to meetings to discuss information requirements and their implications.
- Contribute to the development of management information systems that are fit for purpose by providing a link between the Services and the Business Intelligence team.
- Maintain an awareness of data quality / reporting issues and highlight concerns as appropriate.
- Undertake other duties as may be required commensurate with grade.
**Management and Leadership (where appropriate)**
- This position does not manage any other staff members
**Limits of Authority**
- May not suspend staff under the disciplinary procedures.
- May not dismiss staff under the disciplinary procedures.
- May not take annual leave without prior agreement of the manager
**General Requirements**

- maintain a constant awareness of health, welfare and safety issues affecting colleagues, patients, visitors, and themselves, reporting any accidents or fault in line with trust policy,
- fully participate in health and safety training,
- participate in personal training, development, appraisal, and attend all relevant training courses as required.
