**Purpose of the Role**

You will report to the repair team managers, your role will be to support performance goals along with ownership of specific jobs within Repair, ensuring that all the daily tasks/Service level agreements are completed on time and to the required standard for a range of Assurant customers.

Under moderate guidance, the Mobile Technician will inspect, refurbish, test, troubleshoot, and program electronic equipment.

**As A Mobile Repair Technician, You Will**:

- Conduct root cause failure analysis and troubleshooting on suspected defective devices
- Soldering including micro soldering, replacing individual parts that require soldering. e.g., replacing a screen assembly soldering components such as connectors, flexes, and other small components, full re-setting of solder joints by heating the full component or board
- Functional Testing, Fault Diagnosis, Cleaning, Software Flashing, Software Calibration & Cosmetic Reconditioning
- Participate in continuous improvement and team-building activities
- Identify and report routine process deficiencies
- Replace a screen assembly by disconnecting the flex connector
- Test, repair, and program devices
- Software Flashing, Software Calibration & Cosmetic Reconditioning
- Work with care and urgency to meet production goals
- Participate in continuous improvement and team-building activities

**We Are Looking For Someone With**:

- Experience of working in a Repair environment to KPI’s
- Qualification in electrical engineering, computer science, electrical technologies or electronics or equivalent experience.
- Keen and pays careful attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
