South Lincolnshire Academies Trust are seeking to appoint a SIMS Data & Assessment Coordinator to work across the Trust but be primarily based Spalding Academy - very occasional travel may be required to our other Trust schools, Cowley Academy, Bourne Academy or Giles Academy and mileage would be paid.

The successful applicant must have experience of SIMS and MS Office in a secondary school setting or similar systems. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be required to liaise with school leaders and Heads of Departments to provide them with high quality data. Whilst experience of SIMs is desired, training on the specific modules within SIMs that is required for the role will be provided.

Working with the Trust Data Manager as part of the Data and Administration Team, you would be responsible for managing whole school data on SIMS, inputting of performance data including examination results and internal assessments, analysis of data, preparing reports and managing the display of assessment data to parents and students.

Main responsibilities of the position include:

- Gathering, maintaining and analysing school data and providing reports for the Senior Leadership Team;
- Completing returns, e.g. the School and Workforce Census;
- Providing data support to the Trust Exams Teams during the GCSE and A Level results week (2 weeks each August);
- Setting up and updating SIMS Assessment Manager, including for the production of class mark sheets and student reports;
- Uploading and monitoring reporting data on the school’s chosen package, e.g. 4Matrix;
- Registering of students for external testing, i.e. CATs testing in Year 7;
- Create timetables for mid-year school admissions.
