**Location**:Manchester

This is a full-time in office role. The office is located next to Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Implement the paid social media strategy for a portfolio of key brands (journals, initiatives, corporate).
- Provide support and training to others across the business on social media best practice.
- Weekly monitoring and monthly reporting of campaign performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with portfolio and others across the business.
- Develop and implement key corporate projects, campaigns and content
- Population of weekly content calendar.

**Profile**:

- Academic degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising (or related).
- 2+ years’ experience of coordinating social media or digital marketing activities for business.
- Good knowledge of key social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. Other channels a plus.
- Working knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager. Other Ad Managers a plus.
- Knowledge of other social media and digital marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, Brandwatch, Sprout and Google Ads would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of brand, communication, and digital marketing principles.
- Excellent English language skills (written and spoken), other language skills are beneficial.
- Good organizational, analytical and prioritization abilities.
- Interest in science and science communications.
