We are currently looking for a Modern Slavery Victim Care Accommodation Adviser to join our committed and compassionate MSVC team, on a permanent contract.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Provide support to victims of human trafficking and modern slavery (known as service users) accommodated under 'places of safety' as directed by the MSVC Accommodation Manager
- Manage a complex case load, offering appropriate and bespoke individual support to service users including the arrangement of provision of necessities such as accommodation, food, clothing and toiletries. Also arranging meaningful holistic activities, which may include social events, language classes, orientation briefings, etc
- Arrange the process of supporting service users to return to their country of origin, where appropriate, as well as arranging the preparation of appropriate documentation with the Home Office/Embassies, as appropriate
- Complete and maintain quality standards for regular support plans and risk assessment reviews, ensuring a timely upload of clear and concise case notes
- Collect and provide information to Management when required. This will include obtaining service user feedback in order to further develop and improve the service
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, policies and procedures to provide with correct processing of National Referral Mechanism (NRM) referrals to all who require this service
- Participate in regular team briefings/meetings/group case study sessions and provide support to other colleagues as and when required
- Keep up to date with legislation and the impact it may have on service users and disseminate as appropriate to the teams.
**The experience and skills you need**:

- Working knowledge of the National Referral Mechanism process
- Experience of working in a client focused environment, providing face to face customer service to service users and visitors
- Experience of creating and maintaining filing systems and administering databases
- Excellent self-organisational skills with an attention to detail and proactive approach
**What else to expect**:

- The MSVC team generally operates Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm. There may be occasions where flexibility to work outside of the hours is necessary
- The role is based in our Dover Office, however they may be occasions where you will be required to travel outside of this location depending on business needs
- Documents to show their right to work in the UK i.e. passport or other right to work documents such as work visa, settled status document, certificate of registration, naturalization as a British citizen, Biometric Residence Permit etc.
- Provide full employment history for the previous 3 years and/or suitable documentation to cover any gaps in employment.
