**A small property management company based in Chesterfield, is seeking a detailed bookkeeper & office administrative assistant on full-time or part-time basis. Knowledge and working experience of Xero Accounts software are essential, as well as a good level of general IT literacy.**
**Responsibilities include**:
- **Maintaining accounts**:
- **Input of invoices and receipt to Xero**:
- **Balancing suppliers’ statement and bank reconciliation**:
- **Update and managing and filing documents**:
- **Balancing accounts and credit control**:
- **Preparing cash flow statements**:
- **Generating monthly management account**:
- **Generating ad-hoc reports when requested by management**:
- **Other general office admin duties**:
- **Prepare rent statement for tenants**:
- **Preparing eviction statement to court hearings**:
- **Responding to customer calls and enquiries**:
- **Sending out information to customers**:
- **Raising invoice and taking bookings and payments**:
- **Dealing with customers checking in and checking out enquiries**:
- **Allocate or instruct cleaners or handyman for emergency issues**:
- **Prepare guest directory and operational manual for properties**:
- **Preparing tax return for multiple businesses**:
- **VAT tax return**
**You'll also help prepare the profit and loss sheets for the annual accounts as required by the company accountant and assist with other administrative tasks when necessary.**
**The hours are full time 40 hours per week, but part time or flexible working hours are considered. This is an office-based role, not remote home working role. If you have the required experience and are looking for a new or additional role, please get in touch.**
**Salary: £11.44 - £12.50 per hour, and is negotiable depending on experience**
