We have offices in Lewes and London, with this role being based in our Lewes office. Across our practice areas of Commercial and Residential Property, Private Client, Litigation and Corporate and Commercial, we have 18 partners and a full team of around 100.
Our Private Client team, based in Lewes, advises UK and international private individuals including multi-generational families, high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs and business professionals. We offer a full range of services including wills, inheritance, powers of attorney, trusts and probate, estate planning and tax.
We have top rankings for our Private Client team in Chambers High Net Worth Guide and Legal 500 directories. Our lawyers also have personal top rankings across various legal directories. The team receives excellent feedback and reviews from clients, industry partners and referrers:

**The Role**:
We are looking for a proficient fee earner to join this team to carry out:
- Estate planning, including preparation of Wills and advice on lifetime giving
- Probate and Estate administration, including advising on Deeds of Variation
- Preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Advice on the creation, administration and termination of trusts.
Genuine opportunities take on key roles within the team and for career development within the team and the wider firm.
**Skills needed**:
- Be a qualified solicitor with in excess of 5 years’ PQE
- Be STEP qualified
- Ideally have experience/knowledge of taxation of trusts
- Be organised, adaptable and accurate
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be professional with a client focussed approach
- Have good time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
- Have excellent communication skills and willingness to ‘go the extra mile’
- Enjoy working as part of a team, but self-motivated and able to work independently too
- Be flexible, resilient and the ability to handle change
- Experience of managing or supervising junior members of the team would be an advantage.

The salary for the position is circa £75,000 a year depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a very competitive benefits package including discount vouchers, cash plan, virtual GP service and fitness and nutrition health checks.
