This is a finance assistant role based in Bury St Edmunds on a 12 month FTC. The role is hybrid with the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week.

**Client Details**

Our highly reputable FMCG client is recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their growing team located in Bury St Edmunds. This is a 12 month FTC with 2 days a week work from home option.

**Description**
- Assisting with other Month End tasks including Prepayments, Fixed assets, intercompany & reviewing Overheads.
- Allocation of daily cash
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Process purchase orders based on internal requests
- Process staff expenses and mileage claims
- Credit card reconciliations
- Produce monthly accruals for Purchase Orders and Workbills
- Run and analysis reports under Subcontractors and rechargeable consumables.
- Calculate commission payments
- Review invoices with discrepancies from purchase ledger
- Dealing with telephone queries from Site Managers
- Communicating with suppliers in relation to pricing queries
- Site spend reports for operations teams
- Set up and maintenance of ordering templates for new business clients
- Update price lists on internal accounting system
- To provide assistance at the Year End audit

**Profile**
- Previous finance assistant experience or similar
- Willingness to learn and determination to succeed.
- First class communication skills both in writing and verbally and at many different levels
- Analytical with high attention to detail
- Confident, enthusiastic and self-motivated
