Together we are recruiting a **Workshop Fitter** to join the team in **Newark, Nottinghamshire**. With strong knowledge of plant equipment, the successful applicant will be required to utilise their skills and experience in servicing and repairing plant equipment.

The company has a reputation for quality, and prides itself on its reactive and industry leading repair and maintenance service, therefore applicants must uphold the company standards already set.

**Duties Include, but not limited to**:

- Conduct and complete scheduled services or repair work on company manufactured equipment.
- Responsible for pre delivery inspections, machine overhauls and rebuilds.
- Communicating with the office coordination team to ensure effective planning and delivery of the service schedule.
- To ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with Health and Safety Procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required paperwork and reports.

**Required for the role**:

- Ideally, NVQ in Mechanical Engineering and/or NVQ in Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
- Sound knowledge of servicing & repairing plant/construction machinery.

**Working Monday to Friday 07:00am-15:30pm**

**Salary & Benefits**:
Basic Salary £28,000 - £33,000pa
