An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic counsellor to join our well established occupational health service. The occupational health service is a fully integrated multidisciplinary team comprising of Doctors, Nurses, physiotherapists, Administrative support, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner and Counsellors.

We are looking for a part time counsellor to join the team on a permanent basis. If you are a BACP/UKCP accredited counsellor with post graduate counselling qualification we want to hear from you.

The job offers both a challenging and fulfilling role supporting staff working for Newcastle Hospitals with mental health and well-being. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to offer a comprehensive and responsive mental health support for staff.

The post holder must have post graduate experience providing primary care setting counselling service as well as experience of dealing with clients with presenting with multiple complex issues.
- Interview date: 3 July 2023
- 14 hours 15 minutes/week

To provide counselling for staff and external occupational health contracts in designated occupational health clinics, with responsibility for managing own caseload and for maintaining accurate and relevant client records.

Contribute to service development including education and delivery of groupinterventions

To work at all times in line with the policies, procedures and service standards of the Trust and within the Code of Ethics and Practice for Counsellors (BACP)
